| Although the hotel room # 226 was spacious and quiet - except early in the morning when the diesel engines of the buses on the parking lot were running - and the breakfast buffet was really impressive, the service at the 4-star hotel was BAD. Or rather non-existing! During our 5 day stay at the FUN Hotel in room # 226, it was absolutely NO FUN taking a shower. First of all, it was impossible to reach a fixed, constant temperature: either you burnt your skin, because the water was simply BOILING HOT, or you froze as the water suddenly turned ICE COLD. Also, the amount of water fluctuated heavily! I have made several complaints at the reception - on 4 consecutive days - but their only answer was: the technician is not in, he is out!! But if a technician is out-of-the-office for 4 consecutive days, you had better admit that you do NOT offer any service at all, that you do NOT care to solve your customers complaints, that you do NOT care about Custoner satisfaction! At least that would be honest and straightforward. That was all, they did NOT try to solve our problem, they did NOT offer us a different room, they simply were NOT interested in our problem. We were NOT taken seriously as guests, which is amazing at the 4-star hotel that they pretend to be. They are dependent on guests, without happy guests the hotel will go broke in the end, but they do NOT seem to care at all. Askes whether it was then possible to log an official complaint at the reception, they informed me that there was NO such procedure and that I had to do it via the internet! Again, it is sad to hear that NO official procedure in place to monitor the quality of their Customer Service - or rather the absence of their Customer Service! Having had to suffer for 5 consecutive days from a total lack of service, I propose that the FUN Hotel will offer to pay us back 50% of our total paid amount. Until then, I will NOT recommend the FUN Hotel to anyone - on the contrary, I will log several "worst ratings" on several Weblogs, until I receive their serious reply! Best regards, Paul Jansen |
