We had stayed at the Schaper Siedenberg several times before and found it a good central location for exploring Bremen. The staff were as helpful as usual, eg keeping our luggage while we did Xmas shopping. As we are two adults and a child, we were put up for the first time in a spacious appartment next door to the main hotel, which had living room with sofa bed, kitchenette, separate bedroom and a large bathroom. As it was midnight shopping in Bremen that weekend, there was a fair amount of street noise until late in the evening, but we enjoyed the party atmosphere in Bremen. Breakfast was good, although the breakfast room was looking a bit run-down on this visit.

This hotel is clean and very welcoming. It is near the center and the station but is very quiet. Receptionists are friendly and helpful. The breakfast-buffet is very good.
