Nicely located in downtown Berlin, with KaDeWe around the corner. Good breakfast and clean (but somewhat small) rooms/

The hotel is absolutely centrally located. The room was large, quiet and wellequipped. Breakfastbuffet excellent and to eat in a lovely garden. A few uncertainties in changing linen etc.

Hotel itself was of a very good standard,clean, well run and in a quiet safe area. The breakfast was also very good. However, we were put off by the cold,indifferent, not very helpful attitude of reception desk staff. We booked a non smoking room but were given the opposite. Upon requesting a non smoking room we were bluntly told it would not be ready until mid afternoon (the hotel guide said it would be ready by 2pm at the latest). When we strongly protested that we had not encountered this before we were called back as we left reception and told a non smoking room had become available.

This is a quite good hotel with perfect location, very close to U-Bahn. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrom, although not too big, is ok. If I go back to Berlin, I think I'll stay in Alsterhoff again

Hotel Alsterhof located near West Berlin city centre. Breakfast has many options. Room was clean and has all needed equipment. We can recommend this hotel.
