Perfect location : just in front of Samariter Strabe station (U-Bahn) - a few stations from Alexanderplatz. Hotel is also close to Berlin Ostbahnhof railway station and can be reached with a 30 min. walk.
Hotel was built in 2007 : rooms are nice, quite and comfortable - bathrooms are ok but could be better for a 3 star hotel.
If you do not smoke, make sure when you make your booking to choose the non-smoking room and to repeat this choice in the comment section for hotelier !

The Best Western City Ost hotel is a very nice 3star accomodation. It is just a step from the metro entrance and 4 stops to Alexanderplatz, approximately 10 minutes by metro. The room was not very big but very clean (new bathroom, clean towels every day). We did not take breakfast in the hotel so i cannot express an opinion. Overall it does what it promises, no luxury but very clean, room and bathroom are in very good condition and next to the metro stop. Of course, i recommend it and would definitely stay there again if we travelled back to Berlin!

I thought it was excellent. Very convenient. Clean pleasant room and very pleasant staff. The area it is situated in is also good for cafes and public transport links to other parts of Berlin.
