| my wife and i stayed in this hotel for five days in july.the hotel staff were very effecient and courteous. the check in was fast and effecient,and the room was a double and modern.the set up of the bathroom with its sliding doors toook a bit of getting used to,but after a while it was no problem. the breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of food. the bar was very cosy with a great piano player but the only thing that puzzled me was why the bar only server glasses of beer.the chinese restaurant was average and overpriced.there is a better asian restaurant in the radisson called the noodle kitchen. highly recommended.lastly the position of the hotel is ideally positioned to go shopping, is beside the zoo and the tier garden ,but is bit far from the main attractions.this is a highly recommended hotel almost as good as the radisson. |

| What Do you say about the Intercontinental Hotel Berlin? First off on our arrival we had 2 rooms booked 1 for 2 Adults and 1 for 3 Children both requested with a interlinking internal door,but guess what the 2 rooms had no interlinking door. This even after me calling the hotel the day before arrival and getting an assurance that there would be no problem. After about 30 mins discussing this at reception and having looked at 2 alternatives we were given 2 rooms in the New side of the Hotel meeting our requirements. The other thing that I could not understand is why you could get 1 hours free Wireless internet in the Reception area but not in your room??? Now the positive about the Hotel, Rooms were large enough,bathroom excellent and room service very efficient. Pool area Excellent,LA Cafe for Breakfast is out of this world, you could easily sit and eat breakfast for hours. The staff at all areas are excellent and helpful and very friendly.The hotel is well situated for visiting the sites in both West and East Berlin, just use the Bus Service outside the Hotel. Buses 100 and 200 take you both to Alexanderplatz and Potsdamer Platz for a price of 2.80 euro. The only other thing I can say about the Hotel is that I will be Back |

| Perfect location - near the main local train station and where all walking tours start. Rooms clean, roomy, and well equipped. Breakfast was great variety in most pleasant surroundings. Perfect spot for tourist exploring Berlin. |
