Excellent service, quiet rooms, relaxing spa downstairs. Could recommend to families with a child around 10years. Breakfast was super!

Simply the best. Although a little old-fashioned, everything was brilliant. Staff very nice. Rooms perfect. Spa brilliant. Used the restaurant one night and the waiter was very knowledgeable and super kind. Food very good gourmet food. Location of the hotel was brilliant - right in the hub of Berlin. All in all a very recommendable hotel.

Since the Grand Westin was the first international hotel chain to open in the former east-Berlin, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had heard stories that some travelers who have used internet agencies had received bad/old rooms from the hotel. So, I was making a gamble on this hotel. When I arrived, I was amazed how good the hotel looked. The public spaces looked absolutely _amazing_ and I haven't seen better service almost anywhere else. Also, the hotel's brand new Audi A8 limo was a nice touch. Yeego had gotten me a reservation to the top floor (6th) of the hotel where the rooms have been totally refurnished and they looked great. The 'Westin heavenly bed' was probably the best thing about the room, it is the best hotel bed around, that's for sure. The indoor dining was amazing, the breakfast was amazing, even the cappuccino at the lobby was amazing (and the complimentary hand-made cookies they serve at the lobby bar). Berlin's best shopping area is right at the front door (Friedrichstrasse from Unter den Linden to Checkpoint Charlie) and the holocaust memorial and the Brandenburg gate was also about a 10min walk away from the hotel. If I'm ever back in Berlin, I will definitely go back to this hotel. A+ !
