The hotel is also within walking distance of the Place Pigalle, and the famous Moulin Rouge, in the heart of Paris' bohemian arts district. A nearby metro station takes you directly to the Place de l'Etoile, the Champs Elysées, the Place de la Concorde, the Musée du Louvre, the parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles or in Villepinte. The Gare du Nord, Gare de l'Est and Gare Saint-Lazare train stations are all within minutes of the hotel |

| The hotel location is excellent. It is surrounded by lovely restaurants and touristic sites. However, very close to it are many sex clubs that would not suit every taste. The rooms are small with no air conditioning. This should not be a problem for the hotel's low cost value at Paris standards if the lodging is not during the hot summer months. I should add that the people in the reception are courteous indeed. |

| The hotel was as basic as anything I've stayed in. Incredibly small rooms even by Paris standards. No tea / coffee facilities. This hotel should be 1 star rated. The english guy behind the desk is pretty friendly though getting customers to buy you beer in the off licence up the road is a bit much. The hotel is in the middle of a bunch of strip bars so be prepeared to be hassled by people trying to get you to come into their place. 2 plus points are that it's very central and was pretty cheap. Overall I'd say steer well clear. |
