This was the second visit to Paris staying at the Mondial. Was a little disappointed with the service as we had specifically paid for an extra night's accommodation as we were arriving early in the morning and wanted access to the room as soon as we arrived. We were told that they had no room and tried to fob us off to another hotel. We rejected the room at that hotel as it smelled of smoke. When we complained they managed to find a room for us saying that someone didn't turn up, only we think that it was the room we had booked. We did advise that we would only arrive that morning. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great very close to the Opera and Galleries Lafayette and the metro. Staff friendly and helpful on suggestions for sightseeing etc.

The location is difficult to find it is in an alley with no numbers,the room was large but the paint was peeling.we stayed on the fifth floor but the view from the window was blocked by a wall.the bathroom was very good and totally renovated. breakfast was ok.the atmosphere and the service was good.

An excellent location, friendly and accomodating staff. A substantial buffet breakfast. Clean rooms with an inviting ambience. Rooms at the front of the hotel could be a little noisy, due to street noise. Large tour groups should also have scheduled breakfast times.
