Very convenient, safe and good location in terms of restaurants/markets/food shops area, easy access to metro and nearby Blvd Montparnass, Blvd St. Germain. For the price, great location and price/quality ratio. Very clean and safe hotel, adequate room size, large windows, good heating. On the downside - if people in the inner yard smoke, the smoke will go into your room. For that presented a huge problem on the first night, fine on the other two nights of my stay when there were no smokers under my window. The breakfast is very basic, you can easily skip it and go for more fresh choice and variety to the nearby cafes. All in all, pleasant and simple, good for budget travelers.
