The hotel was in a perfect location for access to the palais de congres (where my colleague and i were attending) which was literally 5 mins walk away. The arch de triumphe was about a 15-20 min walk away and there were plenty of restaurants and bars in the immediate area.
The double room i had was plenty big enough for one person and would have been adequate for two. The room was clean, (although a little on the dark side being at the rear of the hotel) and the bathroom was a good size with a very powerful hot shower. There was a tv with several channels although reception was quite poor on most of them and i noticed one of the power sockets underneath (behind the mini bar) was hanging out of the wall.
A couple of niggles were the building work which was taking place while i stayed. Drilling and hammering commenced at 8.00am which luckily for me was the time i'd set my alarm for anyway. Breakfast was served in a small 'diner style' room in the basement which was also under renovation (the wall mural & mirrors were covered in polythene & ceiling fiitings lights, smoke detectors etc. Were hanging out of the ceiling tiles). The breakfast which was served between 8 & 10am was typical continental style consisting of half baguettes, croisants, pastries with butter, conserves & honey available to put on them. Fresh orange juice was served to the table along with a choice of tea or coffee. I noticed some guests had youghurt which was provided on request.
Overall the hotel provided good basic, clean accomodation in a very convenient part of paris for my purposes. Tourist sites were also in fairly easy reach & there was a metro stop across the road. Staff were reasonably friendly and on the whole spoke good english. Recommended to anyone who isn't after the height of luxury but wants good value for money.

Rooms noisy, thin walls, small with narrow beds and problems in bathroom.Breakfast poor with limitations and staff rude in some cases when we asked for a towel they forgot or toilet paper.Good location though and quite nice price for paris .Would not stay there again.I prefer to spent some extra euros for a better overall stay.
