| We stayed for 4 nights in April. Got to the hotel easily from CDG airport on route 2 of the Air France coaches which stopped at the Arc de triomphe leaving us just a short walk to the hotel. Check in was easy if not a little disorganised as we had been given three different check in times between 11.30 - 1.30. Our room on the first floor (no lift-just spiral stairs) was a decent sized double, but was a bit dark and depressing as it over looked an alley between two buildings. This was a big disappointment based on our expectations of the rooms from pictures so we asked for a different room which we got on the second day. This room was smaller and a little noisier, but lighter with a great view down Avenue Victor Hugo - all in all a great improvement on the first room. The breakfast was adequate, a typical European cold buffet, however it was served in the hotel lobby which only held 4 tables which meant having to hang around in reception waiting for a table to become free. The staff were friendly, polite and spoke excellent English. Overall the hotel was clean, safe and in an excellent location and for this reason we would stay again. |
