| The Hotel Mercure Notre Dame is most centrally situated on the avenue Notre Dame 50 metres from the main avenue, Jean Medecin and the gothic Notre Dame Basilica. The shops, services and shopping mall of the main avenue are within minutes. There is a choice of restaurants one block south, many of them have south facing terraces. The pedestrian area and main square with its beautiful fountains are less than 10 minutes on foot. The beaches, palm trees and period buildings of the Promenade des Anglais are a few minutes further and the extensive selection of restaurants, bars and entertainment venus of the Old Town are similarly accessible on foot. The City Bus service provides a link with the Congress Centre - Acropolis, with the Roman area of Cimiez and Nice Airport. The main railway station is a 5 minutes walk North of the Hotel.
