| A friendly 2* hotel, very centrally located. Situated two blocks south of the station and close to the department stores of the main avenue, Jean Medecin, the hotel Amaryllis is an ideal base from which to explore Nice. Flower markets in the Old Town, Promenade des Anglais, the pedestrian street, rue Massena and the blue of the Mediterranean are all accessible on foot in about 15 minutes The hotel provides excellent acces to public transportation will take you to the Acropolis Convention Centre and to the Olive Park and Roman Arena of Cimiez. Nice Côte dAzur Airport is only at 8 kms from the hotel. The airport shuttle bus to and from the main train station runs every 20 minutes up to 21.00H approx |

| On the ground floor, the hotel Amaryllis proposes a nice and comfortable breakfast room decorated with Provencal colours. The hotel doesnt have its own restaurant but all around you will find a large choice of local or international restaurant, bars and pubs |

| The Amaryllis offers a simple bed and breakfast with comfortable beds in quiet, air-conditioned bedrooms. Staff are friendly and bed linen and towels clean. Location is excellent, being 5 minutes walk from train station and even less to the tram which links with the Old Town and bus station. Very reasonably priced. Our second stay and still satisfied. |

| Hotel staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Unfortunately the rooms left a lot to be desired as your write off states they have been recently refurbished which is not the case at all. They were in poor condition and bathrooms left a lot to be desired. You could hear "everything" from the rooms next door including the flushing of the toilets so was not a restful experience at all. Your review also stated that there were international television channels, again these were not accesible. Would probably not recommend this hotel to other travellers. |

| The rooms were basic, but very clean. We had clean towells every day we needed them. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast again was fairly basic, but there was plenty of it. The only downside. Nice is a fab place, but is now very expensive. Especially with the pound/euro rate. Nowhere is particularly cheap to eat or drink except the usual Macdonalds type of place. |

| This hotel was in a great position to explore Nice and near the Railway Station so easy to get to from the airport. the room was clean and comfortable enough for a 2 star hotel. there were plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. |
