A friendly 2* hotel, very centrally located. Situated two blocks south of the station and close to the department stores of the main avenue, Jean Medecin, the hotel Amaryllis is an ideal base from which to explore Nice. Flower markets in the Old Town, Promenade des Anglais, the pedestrian street, rue Massena and the blue of the Mediterranean are all accessible on foot in about 15 minutes The hotel provides excellent acces to public transportation will take you to the Acropolis Convention Centre and to the Olive Park and Roman Arena of Cimiez. Nice Côte dAzur Airport is only at 8 kms from the hotel. The airport shuttle bus to and from the main train station runs every 20 minutes up to 21.00H approx

The worst hotel I have ever seen in my life! Located in a ghetto area no parking at all,very polite reception though. I would never recommend it to anyone. I didn't even stay although I have been charged because the neighborhood was scary and the hotel itself very filthy!

well located,friendly staff. Generally clean except for shower curtain.Very badly chipped wash basin.Towels tiny. Room spacious and quiet.Good value for money. Cleaning the stained carpet would help general impression.

Good situation. Old house, but comfortable. Staff was ok. Breakfast was simple, croissant, bread and corn flakes with cold milk.
