| Family run hotel located 2 minutes walk from the beach. Situated on the same street as the Galeries Lafayette, one block from the main square Place Masséna and its beautiful fountains, the Hotel Acanthe is the perfect base for shopping, for visiting Nices rich array of Art Galleries and for enjoying the diversity of restaurants and night life in the nearby Old Town. The pedestrian area and smart boutiques are two blocks away. The Promenade des Anglais and beaches are within 250 metres. Hotel Acanthe is a short drive from Nice Côte dAzur International Airport (about 7 kms), main railway station is only 20 minutes walk following the Commercial Avenue Jean Médecin and the central bus station is located 5 minutes walk from the hotel |

| The hotel Acanthe provides a total of 50 rooms which all feature a private bathroom with shower and W/C. The décor and furnishing are simple but comfortable. All rooms are of a medium size with high celling and all equipped with direct dial telephone with integrated wake up call in each room |

| A continental breakfast is served in the breakfast located on the ground floor. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but you will find a large choice of restaurants and bars nearby |

| We stayed in Hotel Acanthé last august with one child (2,5 yrs old). The rooms are quite small not all rooms have television, but... The location where the hotel is situated is excellent. Right on the lively square Place Masséna. The service is also very good. The people are very friendly and practacly bend over backwards for you. They aranged a baby-bed for us (as good as new) free of charge ( some other hotels you pay 7 to 10 euro's per night. The breakfast was simple, but again of very good quality. Fresh croissants and bagettes and freshly squized orange juice. When we wil visit Nice again, we will go to this hotel for sure! |

| Room was very warm,street outside noicy at all times.. The breakfast;very good coffee! besides from that, poor! Nightguard in the reseption could use some anger management treatment! But cheap hotel and very centrally located to shopping,beach and old town (party) |

| Rooms was fine, pretty warm for the raison of the height season, and no Air-Conditionair. Inside rooms, they was cleanned and pretty nice, the only negatif thing we have to say, was just the first day when we was coming, the pillows was already used from an other customer. The breakfest, the service was top!! Service, the only person she was doing her best was Miss Catarina, the receptionist during the day time. The rest, was really bad service specially from Mme, Duchesne and the night receptionist. Location, is ideal lovelly place. |
