We were at Kämp for a short weekend in Helsinki and everything was as expected. Best location in Helsinki, nice and very confortable room, good service. Anything we could have expected from the best Hotel in Finland was there.

I have been extremely satisfied with Hotel Kamp, which righfully qualifies as Helsinki's best hotel. It is also one of the best 5* hotels I've stayed in Europe. I stayed for 4 days in a deluxe standard room, which is more "deluxe" and less "standard". The room had ample natural light, was spacious (as was the bathroom), spic-and-span clean, with ample wardrobe space. The hotel staff was very professional in a friendly and accommodating way. I kept them busy for about 40 minutes one day trying to decide how to organise my evening (restaurant/going out/car reservations/taxis, etc) and they were delighted to be of assistance. One of the hotel's biggest advantages is that its bar on the ground floor is a very popular meeting space for the locals throughout the clock - in fact, it's packed in the evenings until late at night, even on working days. It was very enjoyable to frequent a bar that does not only attract tourists and business travellers staying at the hotel but also real residents of the city. The crowd was a mix of hip and trendy, business people in suits and shoppers in the neighbourhood resting their feet. On the downside, I found the (new) restaurant on the 1st floor quite pricy for the type and quantity of the food, and I thought the menu had a limited choice. Overall: an extremely good impression; I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay for a few days in Helsinki in style and utter comfort and be on the most central street of the city.

Hotel is nice and location perfect. It is a 5 star hotel but do not expect the five stars to be in par with i.e. dubai,NY, etc. 5 star hotels. Pricy hotel where you need to pay for all extra services as sauna/spa area usage which comes free(same sauna/spa area) in next door hotel with half the price.Seems the 5 stars comes more from pricing than service and facilities.

Great 5 star hotel in the heart of Helsinki. Large rooms, frendly personnel.

Room spacious and well furnished.Bathroom excellent with a wonderful shower. Food in restaurant reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Wine very pricey unless one asked specifically for house wine only. Service excellent by very friendly staff without the pretentious veneer often found in five star hotels. Location of this hotel is just wonderful right in the heart of the city. I would recommend this hotel

The room was very nice, cosy and clean. Quiet undisturbed nights. Wellcoming and efficient reception. Delicious break-fast in a modern new furnished restaurant. The service was very kind and efficient. Location of hotel most convenient for discovering the city of wonderful Helsinki by walking distances.

perfect hotel for metallica consert trip..

The rooms and the Breakfast was very good. The location - the best.(I have lived in Helsinki for 13 years). Price/quality correct. The starwood gold upgrading was not taking in consideration.

Room was the best we have ever had. Also the dinner in the hotel's restaurant was a very good one. The Sultan of Brunei staid in the same hotel,so the security systems were perfect ones and we could sleep well without thinking the world outside.
