The Restaurant Simonkatu features a modern, young and airy interior design with a relaxed international atmosphere. Scandic hotel simonkenttä is centrally located, modern scandinavian, and best of all it has the nordic swan eco-label. Good choice for those looking for a more environmentally friendly accomodation.

Our room was excellent, so was the service. But the breakfast room was too small, people had to stand and wait for a table! It would have been better to have some kind of service where they help one to get a table. And the tables were too near each other. One thing I missed at breakfast was the Finnish bread! I'm originally from Finland and was very disappointed not to get Finnish bread at breakfast, only different types of "continental" bread! Why?

The rooms are very well equipped, large and comfortable. The breakfast is very nice, with a lot of choices. The Hotel is placed in a great location, close to the train station, city center and shopping malls.
