Hansa Hotell, Tartu

Easy to find location outside the center of Tartu. A little noisy to sleep in the south side rooms that are lokated near a street with lorry trafic. The food was excellent and so was also the service personal.

Hotel very good - location a bit to the side - but positively 'free' parking. Only negative was a rather sparse and not terribly appetizing breakfast. But breakfasts not a strong point in Estonia excpt for the better hotels in Tallinn. Service was friendly and helpful

Hansahotell is cozy although it is not near the Tartu center. Night club is near and the pub Hansa is very nice with all old stuff and hansa-style atmosphere.

Considering this was all booked via the internet and we had no prior knowledge of the hotel, we were extremely impressed with all aspects of the hotel.

Good and nice hote, good possibilities for sports and eat. Good, nice and professional service in hotel.

Location is very good.

The rooms were very nice, but on hot weather they were absolutely uncomfortable although the staff did arrange the fan for us (which was powerless and didn´t help at all). The service on reseption was polite and friendly, but the waitresses on the restaurant were very unkind and despised especially women. Obviously there was not enough staff and because there were many clients they didn´t even serve us supper. Fortunately there is a supermarket nearby where we could buy some chips for that night.

Room was large enough, service was ok, breakfast tasted ok. I suggest to go to breakfast as early as possible since breakfast stands on a warm table.

Big room, clean, local atmosphere - not too sterile like big hotels. Brakfast ok, but basic. Anyway the local price level is so low, that you get more than youd would expect at the price.
