The Merchant House Hotel is situated a few metres away from the Old Town Square. The Merchants House is the most central hotel in Tallinns Old Town. We would recommend the Merchants House Hotel and will probably re-visit Tallinn in the not to distant future. From our experience: Room - Small but confortable and very clean. Would have liked coffee or tea making facilties in the room, but not really an issue Service - Highly efficient Restaurant - Great choice of breakfast, evening menu not that adventurous but OK and well presented. Location - Perfect for exploring the OLD TOWN of Tallinn We stayed on the 3rd floor and I am not sure if the hotel has a lift facility. Could be difficult for those people not suited to stairs! Tallinn's popularity will continue to grow with tourists and business people alike and the Merchants House Hotel is well positioned to benefit from this. However, like many countries, it's popularity is mainly seasonal and I should imagine the hotel will have a different feel in the summer months. At this time of year it's very quite, could be something to do with the temperature that never rises much above minus 3! Regards - Karl & Lorraine Holmberg
