Location Overview
Villa Kurgo Hotel is located in the beautiful and secure beach area of Pärnu, at a distance of 300m from the sandy beach and a 10-minute walk from the town center. Villa Kurgo is named after seacaptain Mihkel Kurgo, whose family owned the house for long time. Accommodation services were provided in this house already during the first Republic of Estonia, in 1920s and 30s when the villa was called Villa Salme. President of Estonia Konstantin Päts stayed here before the completion of the President's suite in Rannahotel.
Rooms Information
The guesthouse comprises 2 buildings which are the Villa and the Seamen's House. The Villa has six two-room suites with accomodation for 12 people, but the ample space makes it possible to accommodate up to 24 people on extra beds.
There are double rooms in the Seamen's House. The rooms have two levels, beds on the upper level and a sitting area, a bathroom with a shower and a wardrobe on the lower level. The guesthouse is suitable for families with children, holidaymakers looking for quite atmpsphere and businessmen.
Restaurants & Bars
Villa Kurgo cafe can serve 26 guests at the same time and, in summer this number may increases to 66 with the terrace.
Facilities & Services
The sauna in the Seamen's House accommodates up to eight people. There is a fireplace and a TV-set in the recreation room of the sauna. The hot room is built of logs. There are electric heaters in the hot room and three showers.
