| This was a nice modern hotel, with new interior. Room was clean and modern but slightly dark. Noise levels were low. Facilities: blackout curtains, sofa, playstation, tea/coffee, fridge and safe. Breakfast was ample. Staff were present and friendly, even letting us keep the room on the Sunday until 4pm. Located slightly outside the main centre. There were bars and restaurants close by but the main stretch (the Arndale for shopping, Deansgate for going out) was about a 10 min walk. Cabs were cheap and could be booked at reception. Downside: we booked a twin room. On arrival we were told it had been made up as a double but they would change it while we were out. This meant that they made up the sofa bed, which looked only slightly better than sleeping on the floor! No extra pillows or duvet were provided for the sofa bed. |
