| Rooms clean, tidy and relatively quiet. Reception and bar service good. Recommend the chicken pie and pint of Tetley's! Bus service to and from airport excellent. |

| The hotel seems to lack general maintenance of the exterior but we were happy with the room and the service |

| The hotel has a very nice atmosphere, mixing traditional hotel facilities with the atmosphere of a local pub. The rooms are of good size and everything was very comfortable. All in all a very pleasant experience. The only negative ( which is not so negative really) is that the airport - hotel buses run approximately evey hour and so if you miss one, it is actually quicker to go to London and travel to Gatwick by the Express. |
