Such a fantastic hotel for a London area. A lot of hotels advertise great rooms but are no where near as great as this one. The rooms you see on their website are what you actually get. The hotel is only a 8-10 minute walk from the tube but there are plenty of buses and taxi's right outside the hotel. Breakfast is lovely too! Hoping to book this hotel for my next trip. Enjoy!!

A very nice hotel to stay with children. Even though you have to pay a small amount to enter the leisure floor it is worth it. Good choice in continental breakfast and we had a quiet room. Very plesant. I would recomment this hotel to all travelers for long or short visits to London. Just a short walk to the underground, we used Russel square a lot. But grabbing a cab was also easy. They have a stop infront of the hotel. I would book this hotel again.

Problem in that we had booked a non smoking room and were initially given a smoking room. The corridor to this smelt foul. We were told that there were no other room but on persistance were given a non smoking room. Surely if boong confirms a non smoking room one should be given this without query. Location - a little hard to walk tofro nearest station. Restaurant - fine good breakfast. Room clean and tidy but noisy from a child next door.

2 nights for the london marathon. room was smelly (stale smoke) and unable to open a window even to vent made clothes smell of smoke it was that strong. were instructed rate included breakfast but actually included only a continental one which i wasn't even lucky enough to extract a piece of toast with! still a ham roll and black coffee and off to do the marathon tour. taxis easy from the hote land prices seemed fine (although this isn't a reflection of the hotel). Tried to eat in the resturant rather than walk out with tired legs and at 9pm with only 5 people sat down eating we throught it would be easy to get an expensive meal served to us as 10pm given as latest time. after waiting 20 mins at the meeting point to be sat down a waiter finally told us we could sit somewhere if we liked but had no idea how long until we could be served because so busy! asked if, as they seemed to be struggling with the busy (5 people) dining room, they would rather we ate somewhere else, to which the waiter said "yes, i would" ! so we walked to the right up the road a200m and enjoyed some nice food in the scala italian - would recommend there to eat. room was tired and smelly and 1 towel and no shampoo etc and lousy service, rubbish food - would only stay here again if nowhere else available (and i mean nowhere!) and i am usually easily pleased.
