The Selandia Hotel Copenhagen is a family owned, recently renovated three star establishment located in the heart of beautiful Copenhagen, adjacent to the station and the beautiful Tivoli Gardens. It is ideally situated near to the Planetarium, Strøget, Rådhuspladsen, the new ‘Vand Kulturhus’, the ‘Diamond’ and Øksnehallen and a variety of other cultural attractions.

There are 84 newly renovated guestrooms offering comfortable accommodations with a pleasing pastel colour palette of Spring shades, complete with a host of modern facilities. The Selandia Hotel was as good or better than expected. The value was very good: clean, comfortable, great breakfast and close to central train station. Depending on the reservation cost, I would stay again and recommend it to others.

Hotel was in very good location, near the central station. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, especially bread and pastries were delicious. Staff was very helpful and kind. If we travel to Copenhagen some other time, we will stay in this hotel again.

We were a bit worried about shared facilities but it was no problem, everything spotlessly clean. Room a bit small but adequate for a short break. Pleasant decor throughout. Breakfast very good. The hotel is in a very convenient position for sightseeing and the station. No problems with the area. Staff friendly. Would recommend.

Kind and helpful receptionists, the breakfast buffet is basic but good, and the accommodation I was in was also basic but if you come for a weekend or so, it does not matter that much. Wireless internet is available in your room and it is included in the price of the room. I did not like the fact that facilities were shared, but for young people I guess it really is not that much of a big deal. It is located in the Red Light district, so do not get surprised if queens of the night approach you offering their services, but the same is true of the many other hotels located in this area, and paradoxically it is sort of a hotel area too. Central Station is very very close, so it is perfect to catch your connection. Stroget is also at 10 minutes, so the location is actually very good.
