Location Overview

The Grand Hotel is one of Copenhagen's classic hotels, centrally located with the Tivoli Gardens, the Town Hall Square and the pedestrian street, Stroget as its neighbours, right in the city center. The beautiful building dates back to 1890 and has gone through changes throughout the 20th century but now the hotel has risen to its former status as a four-star hotel, after a complete renovation and re-decoration in 1998. The distance to the Copenhagen International Airport is approximately 10 km

Great price, great breakfast, great location. Interior court rooms, however, are godawful and the front desk abides no changes. Wouldn't return.

traffic was a bit of problem when i stayed there but overall it was a pleasant hotel.

The room was beautiful although a bit difficult to reach with children, baggage and trolley (two different elevators, stairs + long hallways). Bathtub leaked to the bathroom floor but the friendly staff fixed it right away (late in the evening). Room was hot and a bit noisy. The location is very convenient, railway station is right behind the corner and Tivoli 5 minutes walk away.
