| Hotel Golden City is located near Prague's central area and old town with quick and easy connection to all major monuments and attractions. It takes about 5 minutes by tram and 10 minutes walking to reach the Wenceslas Square, the main avenue of Prague. The house was built in 1898 in classical style. Owning to its valuable wall paintings from the beginning of the 20th century - inspired by Alfons Mucha, one of the leading painters of the Art Nouveau - it is registred in the list of preserved objects of architectural value. | Very kindly service. Breakfast was good. Too hot rooms, there was not air conditioning. Good location. We like very much that hotel. |

| The room was clean and had everything that you could need i.e. tea/coffee making fridge with mini bar microwave tv phone. Good selection of food for breakfast and above all , staff that were evry nice and helpful. Tram stop outside of front door great for getting around. It was definatley value for money and we would stay there again. |

| Awful! Very noisy due to traffic outside.Poor quality linen. No plug in sink, no toiletries, no light in bathroom, could'nt stand up next to bed (room was in the attic)- perhaps other rooms are better? On the plus, breakfast OK and central location, and cheap. Will not be using again! |

| Rooms were basic but very clean. Staff were very helpful and helped wherever possible. Location was good, central without being right in the hustle bustle. |

| went with another couple Rooms varied in size, clean and basic, Not very good reception on tv in room in attic, bonus of having fridge and teamaking facilities, Staff especially on reception very friendly and helpfull. Buffet breakfast excellant on par with some of the best places we have stayed in Europe. Tram stop outside hotel v good way of getting around. |
