We booked a deal for a deluxe double room including breakfast and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was really huge (king size bed,a sitting area, kitchenette and dining table, 2 large closets, a separate desk room and a huge bathroom). Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as well as a Wifi internet which we never used. Air conditioning existed in the suite and we had no problem regulating the room temperature. Only drawback was that the reservation didn't mention that check in is after 14.00, so our room was not ready.Still we were offered free sparkling wine and juice and they kindly kept our luggage so that we can have a walk through town.

The Pachtuv palace is a very nice hotel..comfortable rooms, .great location, friendly helpful staff. The only major drawback was the heat situation..... the entire hotel including the rooms were so hot that we had to sleep with the windows open which was difficult as we had to listen to the trams all night. The individual room heat controls are blocked. We actually requested help from the front desk...they came and adjusted something..good for one night but back to the oven by the next day. ! Too bad. otherwise it wood have been perfect!
