| When I arrived at Hotel Seifert, I found out I'd been transferred to a different hotel (Hotel Amadeus). The Amadeus was close by but certainly didn't seem as nice. To top it off, the Amadeus put me in a room where the TV didn't work. When I asked to be moved, the only room they had free was downstairs right next to the reception, where there was a bar working till 3am and people being buzzed in all night (was Saturday). Very unhappy. I complained the next morning and they did try to be helpful--ultimately was moved to a top floor room which was nicer and very quiet. So, not the ideal experience but turned out OK. I do think that if they are going to have to move you, they should move you to a place that is at least as nice (since your expectations are being disrupted), and certainly one that has functioning rooms available for each night of the stay. |
