| We got there and I wanted to check out immediately. The hotel is connected to a subway station. You have to ring a bell everytime you want to enter the building which does not give confidence. The reception is on the second floor and is useless. I wanted more towels couldn't get it. I wanted to make a phone call the girl yelled at me because she didn't try to understand my problem. The breakfast was stale and so cheap, watery juice, white bread with artificial jam, some days not even cheese - which is a staple of European breakfast. The bathroom was not big enough to really shut the door. The sink plumbing drained into the shower and the entier 1x3 bathroom filled with water every shower or sink usage. The towels were small and crusty. The halls were smokey and the walls were paper thin. You needed cards to get onto your floor and everything was locked. It was an insecure feeling. Please do not stay here if you can help it. Perhaps avoiding Prague all together would be a safe bet. We were tricked and robbed by official metro police who prey on tourist not understanding the crazy system that seems left over from communist era. |
