It is not the first time I am at Astoria. I think it is the best hotel in its category in Zagreb, offering more than some similar ones. Its location is excellent, the staff is nice, breakfast offers a wide range of food and the room are OK.

Lovely room, with plenty of space, and good bathroom. Sevice very good, staff pleasant and helpful. Food in restaurant excellent. Location very good, close to city centre.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were much nicer than expected. The breakfast was also very nice. It had more items and of better quality than expected. The only negative, and this is small, is that the location is several blocks away from the center of the city. As long as you can walk comfortably it is not a problem. However it is close to both the bus and train station.
