Location Overview
Hotel San Antonio is situated in the tourist's place of Podstrana on the east side of Split (8 km), the main center of Dalmatia. Hotel San Antonio is situated right on the coastline, right on the shore of a magnificent beach. Podstrana and its riviera feature beautiful sandy beaches. Visitors can enjoy its plushy Mediterranean vegetation with pines and tamarisk forests, the sun and the beautiful Croatian sea. Numerous restaurants offer home made specialities and Dalmatian wines. The region is also famous for its high quality peaches and cherries. Podstrana is also the favourite public beach among the citizens of Split.
Rooms Information
All rooms have a balcony and a spectacular sea view. This spacious room has a bathroom made in marble with hydro massage bath and double washbasin made in granite stone. Family rooms (2 rooms connected by a door) are available on request. The 21 guestrooms have simple white decor with sea views and include satellite television, air conditioning and minibars.
Restaurants & Bars
There is a restaurant offering complete meals from breakfast to dinner, consisting of both local and international delicacies. Situated right in front of the hotel, is a café-bar offering a selection of fresh and cold drinks.

Entertainment is provided on the beach, consisting of various watersports, such as jet-skiing, surfing and plastic boat riding.

The hotel is brand new, very modern and elegantly designed. Rooms were spotless, with great maid service every day. Rooms equipped with mini-bar, Flat screen TV, air-conditioning, spacious balcony, lots of storage space, jacuzzi bath and double sink in bathroom.
Unfortunately, although right on the beach, we did not get good weather. Finding something to do was a challenge and getting something to eat was even harder! The hotel did have nice meals and there is a lovely bakery across the road. However, we travelled up and down the coastline and into the city of Split (£12 - £14 in taxi) and there is hardly anyhting but cafe bars. Do the people only drink beer and coffee na deat ice-cream??!!
