The hotel can trace its history back to 1924 when it first opened as the Hotel Bristol, quickly earning a reputation for elegance and excellence which continues to this day. During the year 2006, the Arbiana has been completely renovated, preserving the original architecture in all bedrooms and suites, completely refurbished and decorated to the highest standards of luxury and comfort. The Arbiana hotel is situated on the foreshore and in the heart of historic center of the small medieval town of Rab, on the Rab Island, right next to the city park and 200 m. from the beach. Guests will discover the sights and the sounds of the surrounding town, with its 2000 years of historical attractions and its cultural festivals. The places of interest are the Prince Palace, the 4 bell towers, numerous medieval churches and the 13th century's cathedral.
