Hotel Opatija: Close to action but far from the noise. Very close to bus station. Standard rooms a bit small but very clean and personnel is friendly. Very complete breakfast. Walking distance to the sea and shops. Very cosy outside terrasse bar.

We booked 1 double room and 1 twin room. We were allocated 2 twin rooms when we requested that we be moved to a double room the receptionist said that we should have booked a French bed. Nowhere on the booking form did it say to use this term instead of a double room.The receptionist said that it was a language problem with Yeego. see below. The rooms were as expected: clean and basic, however the sea view was minimal and obscurred by trees. The a/c was noisy.Apart from the above, the staff in the hotel were very friendly welcoming and helpful. The pool was clean. The restaurant served buffet breakfast and evening meal which was interesting and good value for money. The terrace was comfortable with an entertaining jaz band. A nice place to stay.
