we booked "premium" rooms but the hotel classification was "superior plus" & "superior" so there was confusion as to what room we were entitled to occupy. We were dispatched to the annex with a sea view & balcony, very nice rooms but not where we expected to be.

Restaurant - we had to wait for a while but the food was nice. Rooms quite OK. Location a 20 minutes walk from the center - but a nice and beautiful walk (not for disabled or people with a health problem). To reach the pool you had to pass through the Spa entrance - probably to keep unwanted visitors out. It worked because it was almost empty, but when half the family wanted to be at the pool and half at the beach it was a little unpractical. The beach means in this case stairs and cliffs, but the water is wonderfully clear. We stayed only for one night because we had planned it that way. It was nice - though a little expensive for a family that needs 2 rooms.

The room we stayed in was very dark and the beds not overly comfortale. The food in the restaurant was good and the loation location lovely. It was a bit hairy getting to the hotel, particulary the narrow tunnel you had to go through.

The hotel was situated around 2k's away from the centre of Hvar, which was around 20-25 mins walk along the coast, a bit tricky if you don't know where you are going. There is a shuttle bus into town for 40 Kuna per person, that runs until 11pm. We were given a huge twin room, (however I have to add that at first they gave us a double, even though I specifically asked for a twin when I booked it) that was probably the largest room I've stayed in. The room was meant to be a sea view, but unfortunately there were lots of trees in the way, so not really a 'sea view', more like sea through the trees view. We were on the 1st floor, so I expect the view would be better on the 3rd floor (the top floor). The breakfast was great, nice bread, cereals, eggs, tinned fruit, yoghurts, jams etc and we had lunch there too which was lovely. They also have a spa and pool, but we mainly sunbathed by the sea, on the terrace (there is no beach). There were plently of sun loungers. Def would recommend this hotel - would say though, it is mainly couples and families.

Staff was helpful. Late October is the off season and they upgraded our room to the "superior seaview" for free. The view was incredible as was the restaurant (which we had to ourselves). I highly recommend.
