Location Overview

Pharos Bayhill Hotel is situated amongst the green of pine trees. Although it is located just a few minutes from the centre of the town, is isolated from the town rush and suitable for those who seek more quiet and relaxing surroundings. Hotel Pharos is 200 meters away from the seaside and the main public beach can easily be reached through pine woods. You should travel from Split, Drvenik, Ancona and Pescara by ferries or catamarans, which are the only way to come to the island whether you come by car, train or plane (except your own boat). The closest airport is Split Airport.

Room was clean, comfortable with basic ammentities. Breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold servings. Hotel is in a very good location within a 5min walk to the beach and Hvar Town.

simple but quite adequate room pleasant pool area although shortage of sun loungers five minutes walk from Hvar town in good location

It definitely has no view of the old town and you can barely see the water for a 'seaview'. The room was one the small size, but the worst thing was it was way too hot, the balcony door didn't fully open (the seemed to have locked one side of it, no fan or a/c so felt like and oven and having no TV was a bit of a drag. To cap of the bad room, there were ants everywhere on our last day and we didn't even have food in the room! The hotel felt like it was previously either a school of military quarters, not the greatest look. And to pay almost a 100euros per night was outrageous!! The good thing was they had a decent size pool. But overall, would not recommend anyone to stay here!!
