Hotel R is a modern 3 star hotel, built in 2001. Hotel is situated on Iva Vojnovica street, in the middle between the Old town and Lapad peninsula, overlooking the sea. Hotel R is in walking distance to the Old town, less than 10 minutes or a 5 minutes bus ride. The nearest beach is 150m away. The shopping centre is only a few meters away from the hotel

The room we got was a tiny one but clean and reasonably equiped. Breakfast was fine too. The locatin of the hotel is a little problematic. It has many stairs and not easy to be found. BUT it has the best crew. Everybody was extrimly nice, polite and wiling to help any time. We got some very good advices of any kind. Finaly, if you want a small,modest and credible Hotel with a very good staff, this might be tou'r Hotel

This hotel was clean and fucntional but did not have any public areas, i.e. lounge or foyer. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean. Good location, i.e. about 20 minute walk from walls of Old town of Dubrovnik. Over-priced but presumably this is because booking agent took large commission. Would have been cheaper if booked directly at hotel.

Hotel 'R' in Dubrovnik is a small (12 rooms)modern, bright and airy hotel, conveniently located within walking distance of the Old Town, or bus outside the door. We encountered friendly service, pleasant clean air-conditioned rooms with TV. However, we would have appreciated availability of English language television (CNN, BBC for example)and a fridge in our room. But overall, very pleased.

I was very happy with the R hotel in Dubrovnik. The location was a 10 minute walk downhill to the old city and on the #4 bus route. I always walked into town and took the bus back to hotel. The room was comfortable with excellent air conditioning, bed and bathroom. Breakfast was very nice and there was always the offer of cooking something special if desired. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would reccommend this hotel to friends.

My room was comfortable and a good size, with a nice bathroom. The shower was great except when it became cold on 2 mornings. The location was a bit of a walk from the Old Town but was well signposted on the road in both directions. The daytime staff were great; very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
