| Hotel Argosy is perfectly located on the Lapad Peninsula of Dubrovnik, surrounded by full of vegetations and by large parklands providing splendid sea and islands view. Argosy belongs to the hotel village Dubrava, located in a natural reserve on the island of Lapad, which is approximately 4,5 km from the old city. The distance to the Dubrovnik Airport is only 25 km. There is a shuttle service every 10-15 minutes between old town-city centre and the hotel. A shopping center "Mali Stradun" with an art gallery, souvenir shop, post office, a la carte restaurants, clubs, etc. is located close to the hotel. | Hotel includes variety of entertainment options for the adults and the children, which makes it a good choice to spend the family holidays. The Babin Kuk complex has 12 earth tennis courts, a set of table-tennis boards, grounds for volleyball, football, handball, boccia, and mini-golf. Water sports feature wind-surfing, water-skiing, rowing and sailing. From time to time there are courses for tennis, swimming, scuba-diving and wind-surfing while weekends are reserved for regattas and sports competitions. The hotel has its own beach and harbor for boats. There are also an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool (10x20 m) for the guests. Those who like sports can choose between tennis, table-tennis, volley-ball, badminton, Mediterranean bowling and mini-golf. There are also attractive jogging tracks (total length 4 km) leading along the seaboard of the peninsula. | Although from the outside the hotel seems very old, the rooms were very well designed and clean. I have chosen to have a room with a terrace paying a pit much but unfortunately my room was not facing the sea although it has a terrace! There are no hair dryers in the room but when you ask for it the room service supply you with one. |

| Bedrooms; very clean, good facilities. Breakfast; wide variety, efficient self service. Public areas; rather shabby. Bar; closed down too early in the evening. Location; very convenient for Dubrovnik, excellent bus connections |
