Sandman Hotel City Centre Vancouver, Vancouver

Too many people for 2 lifts. Dark small rooms, some without a closet, and fair cleaness.

the hotel was nice and Clean however I was not happy with the front desk. I found them to be rude and somewhat condesending as my flight had been delayed and I required that they let my son in the room before I arrived.. I was dealing with a tricky situation

Centrally located to Chinatown and metro. A little bit far from Robson Street. The room was ok. The bathroom was too small. The lifts were old and slow. The water in the pool and the whirlpool was very dirty and smelled more urine than chlorine. We didn't dare to let our daughter be in the pool.

Staff at the hotel is very nice and helpful. The hotel itself is good.

Nice, clean, comfy rooms. Good service, moxies is always a good place to eat at. Perfect location, close to shopping and Gm place=couldn't be better.

Location was good. Hotel was a little noisy but service was great.

Hotel room was okay, however there was no room service for breakfast orders. Also, the elevators need to be repaired as they were very slow.

The hotel was nice and clean,the rooms basic (I would not pay more to stay here). The location was perfect for The Stones show which was right accross the street at BC Place. When we arrived we were given a non smoking soom, and they changed us without problem. Very accomodating.

The room was fine, the view was great. No room service was very disappointing. The elevators were not in good shape and one was completley out of service having us climb 11 flights of stairs twice, or waiting 20 minutes or more to access the elevator as it was a line up. The location was great, however the restaraunt in the hotel was an hour and a half wait.

The Sandman Inn - Downtown Vancouver has very nice, helpful staff. Unfortunately however the facility is EXTREMELY non-wheelchair friendly. If my mom brough her original, larger wheelchair vs her new more slender one, we would not have even been able to get in through their wheelchair access entrance. THe hotel has TWO handicapped access rooms (we didn't get one due to the high volume of old people staying for the same concert we came for) Registration is what we could call 'painful'. If you don't luck out to get one of the 5 temporary parking spots to go in and register for your room and formal parking spot in the underneath parkade, you have to go find a spot on the street or in a city parkade, walk back to the hotel, register for your room and get your authorization for parking, then go back get your car, and then park at the hotels secured parking area. Kind of coo-coo expecially when you have a handicapped person with you. I am REALLY glad I know all this before my second stay at this place on Nov 3rd (with no-handicap persons). THe location could not be better though, regarding a 5 minute walk to either GM Place or BC Place. Thanks for asking for my feedback. Have a great day.
