| Thank you for your interest in the outcome of my stay at Novotel Plovdiv. Our Room No was 837. As I stated in the Hotel Survey Sheet, whereas the public areas of the Hotel are up to standard, the room was a total disappointment. 1) The room in general including the pillows and sheets smelt of cigareetes even though we specifically asked for a non-smoking room. 2) The bed mattress was well past its working life and was terribly unconfortable. 3) The bathroom was so old that it will not pass as a 3star Hotel never mind a 5 star Hotel. 4) The toilet area is of the same standard as the bathroom except that to top it all, the toilet seat which was made of the cheapest quality plastic was also broken from one of the hindges. 5) We were only given half a toilet roll between two persons per day which was totally inadiquate. 6) The hotel provided no bathrobes, or slippers. 7) The choice of drinks in the room bar was pathetic. The hotel room in general would not get a 3 star rating. The only reason we did not check out of the hotel on day one was that our busy agenda did not allow us the time to re-organise and move to a new hotel. |
