Best Western Augusto's Rio Copa Hotel, Rio de Janeiro

I have stayed in this hotel for the six or seventh time, no thing has changed, breakfest, cleaning, member of staff, environment still excellent. tell them to keep up with the good quality.

The staff in the hotel were extremely friendy and helpful. The hotel was comfortable with a fantastic shower, though the restaurant was basic. The location of the hotel was ideal for people wishing to visit the beach as it takes only a few minutes to get to the Copacabana. Everywhere else in Rio is a cabride away from wherever you stay so loaction wasn't an issue. The taxi drivers all knew the hotel so there was no problem getting there from anywhere. The swimming pool is tiny however, and not very clean.

Restuarant and location was great. Within walking distance of the beach. Didn't have any incidents although we where warned about the high crime rate. Buffet breakfast was nice, there was great variety and good selection.

Rooms fine,location near to beach etc. breakfast very good .Service? good upto a point. We asked frontdesk to reconfirm our flights and were told that we could do it oudselves ,which we could not because of language problems. In the end this specicfic flight was cancelled and to cut a long story short we were very lucky to get onto another flight.So, management have a chat with your staff!

Realy nice staff and a great location just a few hundred meters from Copa cabana beach, good for transport around Rio as the bus stop was just outside the hotel. I would recommend this hotel

Hotel was good and the price was great compared to the published rates. Rooms were good, restaurant was ok and the service was good. The only regret I had was that I wish we had stayed in Ipanema or Leblon. It is ok though. Copacabana is just a little rougher than the other neighborhoods, but not bad at all.

Room was good lots of space, clean, and quiet. The service and staff were fantastic from begining to end. The breakfast buffet was very good, as was the dinner buffet. The location of the hotel was alright, only a little ways from the beach but on a very busy street which had it's pros and cons.
