Slightly run down rooms and very old and slow lifts but place is clean, staff helpful, breakfast excellent and plentiful but location is what this place is all about. Large balconies with seats and table overlook Copacabana Beach. Beachfront rooms are actually suites (sitting room then bedroom)and for that price it's amasing ! Other beachfront hotel that are more modern charge 3 or four times that amount and don't have any outside space. I have stayed there several times. Bring your earplugs though, noisy traffic and crashing waves...

The room was very good clean and quiet. The staff extremely helpfull with a big smile. Probably the best staff in Copacabana
