| The hotel is very nice close to copacabana beach. The receptionists are very helpful and there is an internet in the lobby although it is expensive (if u go to the shopping mall it is much much cheaper). The only negative point is that the hotel is close to the main road of a favela and after 6pm there are many poor people cooking, drinking selling etc on the side of the hotel(since it is in the corner). Altthough these people are nice people one has to be careful cos they havent got anything to wear or to eat, let alone if they see you with money, watch camera. ONe has to be careful. Rio is just beautiful tomiss and it would be interesting to know why there are poor people. |

| The DuCasse Rio is an excellent hotel, the location is a few minutes from Cocacabana beach and the room had A/C, TV and en-suite at a very reasonable rate. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the receptionist spoke good English and arranged taxi very quickly. I would recommend this hotel and stay again. The only thing I would complain was the safe was out of operation. |

| The hotel is ok, not very big but clean. But the location is very good, very near the famous beach. We do love it, and enjoy a perfect afternoon. In addition, it takes about 10 to 15 minuts to the subway. |

| This is a good value budget hotel. Clean room with all facitities. Good breakfast (included in my rate) 150 metres from Copacbana beach. Friendly and helpful staff. |
