This was our first time in rio, although we travel a fair amount internationally. We debated staying here - it was between this hotel and someplace a bit more budget friendly. But i really wanted a hotel w/a nice roof area to relax a bit up high, w/an above avg. View. This was the right place! upon our arrival before noon, we were allowed to check in immediately. Service was very friendly w/out being stuffy, and the hotel was extremely clean w/very comfy beds, good a/c, etc. Breakfast was great and we had absolutlely no complaints about the hotel. Great location. We were on the 3rd floor, upgraded to a partial beach view room and had no trouble w/traffic noise. My husband and i would highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel very clean but rooms in urgent need of refurbishing. Has the feel of the 70's. Also this was the only hotel to charge for use of internet. Seems to attract lots of tour groups. Good service and buffet dinner excellent value.

Hotel rooms were spacious enough, very clean & great toiletries provided! staff were very helpful & informative and the buffet breakfast was fantastic - great juice bar! but the best feature of the hotel is its central beach-front location.

Good location, pleasant staff. Over diluted fruit juices at breakfast and irritating lobby music in the restaurant are my only complaints!
