Was stated to be 5 star and while foyer etc were smart our room was a bit tired - not what I would consider 5 star. Staff at front desk were very helpful with any queries or advice, good location

The room we were given was old and in need of repair. It had a nice view of the beach out of the side balcony but the room did not smell very good. The hot tub was out of service as was the work out room. The breakfast was good. The service was good but definitely not a 5 star hotel. We later stayed at Cesar Park on Ipenema Beach which was a definite 5 star experience.

Service, staff friendliness, cleanliness, beach sevice, breakfasts all great! Room and bathroom reasonably spacious with good facilities. Beds are confortable. Room furniture and bathroom could do with some renovation.
