Of course it is an expensive hotel but it was really fabulous. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the service was excellent. It was our first visit to this city and guess what, it was raining! I asked the receptionist at check-in if there was any chance of a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view. He did not say much, but can you imagine our delight when we walked into our room? (He said later that he wanted it to be a surprise!) The most breathtaking ocean view, which kept us going when it was pouring outside. The breakfast was excellent, the bar has a good atmosphere. We had dinner at the bar one night and another night in their restaurant and it was very gourmet food. Interestingly enough, it was good value for money when you compare to the lunches we had in other oceanside restaurants. One piece of advice to those who might get lured by the Stern Jewellery Company into their very nice factory trip. They give you the whole demo and we were crazy enough like many others to have bought some pieces. And after that, when we continued towards the rest of the visit, we came to a floor where they were selling gorgeous stuff...at up to 50% per cent off. It really was so dishonest! So beware. I wish someone had told us that in a review!

My wife & I spent 7 nights at this hotel. It is the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in, with every member of staff being extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The hotel was spotlessly clean and comfortable with views of Cococabana beach. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the fresh fruit drinks each morning were an added surprise. We would highly recommend this hotel and were very impressed at the price Yeego was able to offer us for the second part of our stay.
