Great location with easy access to Copacobana Beach and Ipanema Beach. Good comfortable room with a view of the beach and a distant sideways view of the Christ statue. Reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke very good English.

This is the third time that I have visited Rio de Janeiro and again I have used this hotel. The location is fantastic, since it is just off the gay beach. The prices have increased over the last 1 1/2 years considerably, whereas the maintenance is diminishing and the service is slowly disappearing. The front desk is not properly trained, which one notices when any request is made. The restaurant is good and so is the breakfast buffet. The only reason for choosing this hotel is the location and that the rooms are comfortable enough to be willing to spend some time in it, again, not exceptional, but bearable.

The hotel is only about 100m from Ipanema Beach and on a street corner that has cafes and bars within a similar distnace in the other direction. Room was spacious and well maintained, with good fittings. Front desk staff very helpful, with good English.

The rooms were always kept clean, tidy and fresh. Food was reasonable price and good quality in hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when looking for information and tours. The location is about 50 metres from beachfront and is surrounded by nice restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!!
