Hotel was excellent and service was fantastic. Also when we mentioned we were on honeymoon we received complimentary champagne and chocs which was a nice surprise. Loved the beach service! Would definitely stay here again. Only inconvenience was a couple of times we found we were locked out of the room due to security measures as items of "value" (subjective) were found outside the safe. Some guidance of this in the room would avoid future guests having the same problems. Also the Yeego booking experience was fantastic!!

These guys could not have been any nicer! Excellent customer service, gorgeous room overlooking the pool and beach. They remembered my name throughout the stay and security was tight but unobtrusive. One bellman even walked me down the street to a restaurant to show me where it was located, and I am sure part of that was to ensure my safety as well as good service.

The Sofitel is in a good location in Rio between the Impanema and Cococabana beach The breakfast's were excellent, rooms spacious and beds extreamly comfortable The french restuarant in the hotel is excellent The service all round is very good - I did however find some of their staff members to be unhelpful however there was one gentelman who was so accomodating and helpful he made up for the rest Overall would definitely recommend the hotel
