| This was a second choice for me when the hotel I normally use was fully booked. The position of the hotel is relatively good if you are working at any of the EU Institutions but is in an area where it is very quiet in the evening and not ideal for female travellers returning alone. My other criticism is that ordinarily with Yeego a double room for single use is provided and this was not the case. However once I'd got over the shock of a single bed the room was perfectly fine. Bathroom was functional and the shower nice and powerful but overall could have benefitted from a bit of redecoration. The rooms have obviously been re-done and were better. Digital TV was a nice touch, as was airco because it was hot that week. Staff really friendly. Could not have been nicer. Breakfast OK but a bit heavy on the croissants and bread-based foods.... All in all a decent hotel. Comfortable and friendly with an 'old fashioned' charm to it but just in the wrong bit of Brussels for me. |
