The Hotel Metropole is a superbly renovated hotel whose gracious charm has been splendidly preserved. It is Barcelonas only remaining 19th century hotel, perpetuating an uniquely Belgian character that sets the note for a delightful stay in Brussels. De sneeuw, de stad en het hotel was een sprookjesachtige combinatie. Na een bezoek in de stad ben je snel in het hotel en kun je in de sfeervolle bar van het hotel warm worden met een glaasje port.

Its not five stars, but the charm makes up for it. If you are sick of wanna-be modern hotels, this one will offer some character. Great breakfast, don't book a room without it!
