Intercontinental Hotel Vienna, Vienna

Nice hotel, confortable, well located but I missed a free wifi.

excellent location next to subway station and near centre of town. room is quite small but adequate. the bathroom however is really very tight and not acceptable for an intercontinental hotel.

Service was really great. People were very helpful. Room was quiet. I liked most to having my coffee in the coffee shop in the lobby bar.

The hotel is expensive and so our expectations were high but in general they were met. Despite the bland exterior the inside of the hotel is very well appointed.It is conveniently located ,with the subway just across the road, and many attractions within walking distance.The staff were more friendly than might be expected in a large hotel.The breakfast buffet was excellent.The gym is very well equipped and has a sauna but no pool. The hotel has a pleasant bar area but the drinks are very expensive.Rooms were mid size. We would be happy to return but would explore the competition first"

we stayed in the hotel continental in vienna, hotel was very nice, restauraunt provided very good meals and service, hotel staff were very helpful and friendly which made for a very enjoyable stay.

The Vienna Intercontinental was not our first choice, but it worked out great for our small group of business travelers on a stopover on the way to the Caucasus. The location was great, and my 9th floor room had a lovely view over the Stadtpark. The room was compact but nicely decorated, and the bed was quite comfortable. I received a non-smoking room as requested, despite the fact that the hotel seemed quite full. My room even had a complimentary bottle of mineral water, fresh flowers, and a fruit and candy basket, so I feel like I suffered no "discrimination" for making my reservation through Yeego.com. As for food, the breakfast buffet is extremely extensive, even including a section of Asian foods. I did not eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but did order dinner from room service one night. My order arrived quite quickly and the soup, salad and dessert were delicious. It is slightly inconvenient that there is no cash machine (ATM) in the hotel, but the staff was able to direct me to one only a couple of blocks away. The external facade of the Intercontinental may not exude Viennese charm, but everything else about the property is great and I would highly recommend it.
