The hotel was excellent except that they told me I had a non-smoking room but I didn't. Would definitely go there again

great hotel....the only problem,,the too expencibe bottles of water in the mini bar!

The Marriot Wien hotel, although in theory a 5 star hotel was far below our expectations with respect to the quality and state of the rooms. The rooms definitely need renovation in order to be considered five star. We tried the room service which was also much below standard. Also, the indoor pool area was too hot / stuffy (due to tje low ceiling and being in the underground level). On the positive side are the very convenient location of the hotel - 7 minutes walk to city centre and close to three underground stations. Also, the breakfast was very good and the cafe and bar of the hotel were very nice (and true 5 star standard). Some reception staff were really helpful in providing tourist informationa and assisted in booking restaurants on our behalf (a must on a weekend for popular restaurants).

We were very pleased of our staying at Marriott Wien. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, the service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was generous and with a nice view of Stadtpark. We had a perfect dinner at the Cascade restaurant and value of money. The Cascade bar was very pleasant with a waterfall and nice live music on Friday night.We will definetely select it , in our future trips.The tram outside the hotel drives you at no time , to the museum area.
